Service Opportunities Outside of evergreen
Did you know that Evergreen has three designated mission partners?
Locally, we partner with Love Your Neighbor, which is just three miles down the road. Nationally, we partner with Rehoboth Christian School in New Mexico. Globally, we partner with a community in Aware, Ethiopia through the ministry of Children’s Hope Chest. We invest in these organizations both financially and relationally.
One thing we love about each of these organizations is they all take a people-based approach to ministry – serving others with dignity. They all understand that we must resist the urge to play hero in someone else’s story. God is the hero and Christ is their savior. We are all rich because we are made in God’s image, and we are all poor and in need of others’ gifts, strengths, perspectives and resources.
