We weren't created to go it alone! There are lots of ways to connect at egm, with vital ministries for kids from birth to High School, and thriving small groups for all ages. Worship Team - Page
We at EverGreen do not see worship as something we do only on Sunday, we see it as a lifestyle. We believe that true worship must be a constant and consistent attitude or state of mind within the believer. Worship does not equal music and music does not equal worship. We recognize that God's highest desire is that every one of His children to so love and adore Him that we are continuously in His presence, in Spirit and in Truth. We express that in our services through dance, drama, music, and speaking and teaching the Word of God. We believe, just as A.W. Tozer writes in his book Whatever Happened To Worship?, "true worship is to be so personally and hopelessly in love with God that the idea of a transfer of affection never even remotely exists." We believe it is very important to not only teach our youth, but to engage them as well. With strong leadership in place we strive to point youth to Jesus Christ. Nursery
A number system makes sure you are the only one who can pick up your child. The number system also makes it possible for us to notify you if your child needs you during the service. Nursery is provided during both of the Sunday Morning worship services for children birth through 24 months. Nursery at EverGreen is a place where our children, birth to 24 months, feel safe and secure. Infants and toddlers are learning machines, growing by leaps and bounds and in Nursery, we give them ways to experience the world around them through toys to touch and explore and volunteers that affirm, smile, interact and comfort. We can always use nursery volunteers. Contact sally@egm.org if you would like to help.
Front-Line /Greeters
We love to welcome new people into our services and our lives. By greeting, handing out Bibles and bulletins, and answering questions, we will do everything that we can to make people feel safe and welcome here. Our teams serve 3 months each year, and look for new faces and familiar faces each week. Contact evergreen@egm.org if this interests you.
Hospitality Team
EGM hosts many events and community-based opportunities to serve. If you would like with preparing food, setting up and taking down items, or planning events, please contact Sherral at evergreen@egm.org.

Arts Team
EGAD - EverGreen Actors and Dramatists - is a team of high-energy people who act. And direct. And write. And laugh. Actually, "laugh" should be the first on the list, if you cotton to the FDA guidelines.
egm's drama team plays an important part in our services - we use drama to raise questions about the topic in a service, relate scripture to our collective experience, and try to lower our natural defenses to change.
Beyond Sunday morning dramas, we also work with WAY (our elementary aged kids) to bring God's word to life, and we present at least one main-stage drama a year. For 2008-2009, we will be producing "South Pacific" by Rodgers and Hammerstein, showing on Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28, 2009.
We are able to do all these fun things by developing learning, practicing, and working together to build a real TEAM - not just a collection of individuals. Everyone High School age and above is welcome to join our merry band. Our team meetings take over Wednesday evenings in the auditorium from 6:30 - 8:30.
